Growing up in the Midwest, we learn to value the things we have. We work hard and stay humble. For our parents, that meant washing cars at home (Iowans sure aren’t afraid of hard work). But we’ve learned backyard and driveway washing uses 3 to 5 times the amount of water than a professional car wash. And, harmful run-off from driveway washes goes straight into our waterways which can impact our crops and animals. Save time, money, and protect the land we know and love by washing professionally.

Faq

1Do I need to close my tailgate?
Yes. Please make sure your tailgate is closed to prevent possible damage to the wash or your vehicle.
2Do I need to remove my trailer hitch?
Yes. Please make sure you remove your trailer hitch before entering the wash to prevent possible damage to the wash or your vehicle.
3Do I need to remove my antenna?
Yes. Please make sure you remove your antenna or make sure that it is retracted before entering the wash to prevent possible damage to the wash or your vehicle.
4Do I need to clean out my truck bed?
Please make sure your truck bed is clear of all trash, debris and/or loose articles before entering the wash to prevent possible damage to the wash or your vehicle.
5Can I use my membership for more than 1 car?
No. Unfortunately, a membership is for a single vehicle.
6How do I cancel my membership?
You can cancel online, in the store, or you can see an attendant at the Shine Shop for help!
7How many times can I use my wash membership in a day?
It is truly unlimited. Wash as many times as you want!
Family Plans

At The Shine Shop Family is Everything!

We offer plans that will keep the whole family shining.

Family Plan Structure:

  • First Vehicle is full price
  • Starting with 2nd vehicle, $2 off each vehicle on family membership
  • All vehicles on family memberships must be at same package level (can’t mix and match)
  • All vehicles on family membership must be on same credit card
  • Cannot be combined with any other promotional rates or discounts

How to Sign up:

In order to start a Family Plan, you must stop in our office with the main account holder’s credit card. At that time we will be able to apply the family plan pricing and install the membership sticker on any/all additional vehicles. Our office is located at the Shine Shop Car wash – 3301 North Ankeny Blvd., Ankeny, IA 50023
